Nico Wissing is a nature-inclusive landscape designer through and through. In everything he designs and undertakes, he strives for a living environment where humans and nature are in balance. For this reason, many refer to him as a ‘green visionary.’ In the park, Nico aimed to create borders with a great diversity of plant species. By using smaller plant groupings and plenty of variation, a dynamic landscape emerges that surprises in every season. At the same time, repetition of certain species ensures cohesion and tranquility, resulting in a natural harmony.
