In a design process, Bart Hoes takes the relation between buildings and the surrounding environment into account and tries to balance these. Bart used perspective, which create a depth effect in an area. In Park of Dutch Dreams, Bart created three natural looking areas, where he has combined ornamental grasses with perennials.
The numbers in the plant map show where the different plants are planted in the park. The numbering is divided into three groups, namely large groups (black), small groups (white) and a matrix planting style (orange). The large groups consist more than 15 plants from one species, the small group 3 to 5 and by the matrix style different species are combined in an area to create a natural planting style.
