plant overview

Tom de Witte

The basic principle of a design by Tom de Witte is the layering of the plants and the natural appearance. Tom de Witte has a great interest in perennials and ornamental grasses and uses these in his designs. Tom has made combinations of bigger plant and smaller plant groups. In this way Tom created a naturalistic looking area, with surprising plant combinations.

The numbers in the plant map show where the different plants are planted in the park.  The numbering is divided into three groups, namely large groups (black), small groups (white) and a matrix planting style (orange). The large groups consist more than 15 plants from one species, the small group 3 to 5 and by the matrix style different species are combined in an area to create a natural planting style.
